Just seen some of the gameplay. Am i tripping or do the graphics look a little worse?
nah they’ve literally been upgraded
if i didnt like the witcher 3 will i like this?
as of right now, i don't really see the appeal of the game prolly ignorant as s*** but aint this just a futuristic gta
Depends on why you didn't like Witcher
It's not much like GTA besides the free roamable city & crime, it's an open world story driven cyberpunk themed RPG where you mold your own path with choices & playstyle

You didn’t like Witcher 3?
Do you remember how far you made it?
the town where you can sleep with prostitutes or a bit further i think
This new gameplay didn’t really impress me tbh. I’m still gonna cop the game for sure when it drops on PS5 but can’t say I’m HEAVILY anticipating it.
damn that looks wayy smaller than witcher 3
i know they said it would be smaller but this is like half the size depending on how big the buildings are
Way more dense tho

I’m only here for the rpg elements and the open world, gunplay been super mid to me from the jump.
Can’t wait to explore this world

Probably not, if you don't like narrative focused, dialogue and choice options and RPG elements you won't like cyberpunk since that's the emphasis.

Fax
I'm just here for the CDPR side quests and storylines anyways
The more I watch the more the combat and gunplay doesn't really impress me. The hits and melee don't have enough weight. The guns all looks and play like shooting a laser gun, not enough sway, recoil, or movement a gun shooting should have.
I think the bets part of the combat will just be the freedom and choosing how to play things out.

the gun mechanics are really disappointing. I doubt much changes from what we saw until final release
whole combat system looks way to arcady
lowering my expectations so i can't lose

I could care less about gun realism, I just want cool tools and abilities and s***

that sounds perfect lol. loved that Witcher was like 2/3 story and 1/3 combat

If you like the Deus Ex series of games, you'll like this
The freedom of choice, individual story branching, and side quests will definitely be the strongest point of this game. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re all 10 hours into the game with all different factions and completely different choices and options for certain missions and stuff.
The Witcher 3 was fairly average with its combat too, but it was still a masterpiece.
I loved the witcher 3 like it was my own f***ing son.
I really am hoping I can get close to that kind of enjoyment here.
It's probably impossible but I really somehow hope this game is longer
see people keep calling the gameplay janky and all I can think is that isn't janky gameplay kind of CDPR's thing? Like the Witcher didn't exactly have the smoothest of gameplay. Just give me a massive f***ing game with a dope story and quests and I'll be happy.
title is so cool tho

They say it’s more replayable than Witcher 3 (which is crazy) so that alone is a good thing
