Its normal for things to change through development, we should judge them based on the latest trailers and according to those they did keep their promises. Gamers are childish though and this concept is too hard for them to grasp.

Also, imagine playing a game with a lore as deep as cyberpunk's and complaining that the pedestrians don't act like they do in a gta game. Maybe you should stick to gta then. Nothing about the witcher 3 hinted that CDPR is in it for that type of gameplay.

One thing they f***ed up with the promotion is the most recent official gameplay trailer talks about how to spend your past time and it shows you dancing, playing guitar on stage, riding a roller coaster , partying in a strip club, buying cars with jackie ect but u can't even do any of that it all just happens in a cutscene during the prologue. I wasnt expecting that many side activites but the average person who sees that on TV commercial will think all that will be in the game.
