think I’m nearly done, around 50 hours in and just started Act 3

this sony situation is f***ing insane

why did they even bother trying to release the game on last gen consoles. As an owner of a next gen console they should’ve just cancelled the last gen versions after the first delay and focused on making the next gen versions look as good as possible

Because this holiday season is going to be pretty significant for gaming because of COVID. It’s probably the best period of time you could hope to get if you want to maximum potential profits.

And the install base for last-gen consoles is MASSIVE.

People own the game still. Certifying updates is making sure it won’t brick systems. Updates will come when Xbox and Pc get them

If they just came out last month and said “the game is f***ing broken, damn near unplayable for 90% of the people who will play it” so we’re delaying it until this time next year and cancelling the last gen versions” then people would have been pissed but would prob get it

If they came out with that a month ago the s***storm would still be terrible

They should've just not announced a new release date after they delayed their first one and explained that the game was just not near to being done

Even with all the bs happening I still like this game a lot, and still one of the best looking games I've played.

I also know for a fact that I wouldn’t be saying that if I still had my base Xbone tho

Seeing all the flack CP2077 is getting makes me sad lowkey. Was this the game of the generation like we anticipated? No. Was it a buggy, constant crashing mess? Yes. But if you stuck with it, you were gonna fall in love with the characters and story. I hate more people won't get that experience and I played on base PS4.
