never seen an update so big
as bad as launch was, what other dev has this big of an update? we really went from 1.1 to 1.2 with THIS MANY FIXES im impressed
this means Sony will put it back right?
Crine. They hired a guy to write out every single little bug they fixed to make it seem like a lot
This just another “bug fix” update any other company ships out but instead they say “general fixes” and “quest scripting fixed”
They made this long af to make it seem like they did something
Multiple videos I already seen on Twitter show the police still broken even tho they said they “fixed” it and parts somehow worse than they were before

Yep, can confirm. Part of my job is literally creating monthly patch notes for this product we own at a DevOps lab.
I just put on “Clique” & go HAM:![]()
“Turn that 62 to 125, 125 to a 250
250 to a half a million, ain't nothin' nobody can do with me, now who with me?!”

In this case.... yeah these patch notes delivered like this are a marketing move
Any open world game always receives these major bug fix updates. But the case with those (say Ubisoft / rockstar open worlds) they label their major updates like so “general bug fixes, fixed various performance issues, fixed isolated crashes”
They label it like that because they don’t want the general public to know how broken they shipped the original release.
With a case like cyberpunk, they want to notate everything they fixed so they can show the public god damn every little thing that was fixed.
All patch notes should be like this. CDPR does good here
But to see people call this “omg the holy grail of bug fixes and patches”..... really this is just a normal patch that all open world games get after launch... just they notated everything
You should see some of the patch notes my engineering team comes up with at work, scrolling forever with fixes and they release those weekly.
Then when they release it to the public all it is is “general fixes”

there are a ton of quest fixes and open world gig fixes and a ton of other specific things that needed to be listed, i just read all of them lmao
this wasnt a marketing move when 2 of my irl friends were roadblocked by bugs and now they can finish the main story lol
the only marketing tactic is "hey you can play our game again if you were stuck!" with the target audience being people who were stuck
don't blame "marketing" when there is a clear list of important individual quest changes

Bruh people underestimate that s***.
If on the product, we literally move a homepage button to the right a LITTLE bit, I’ll write:
“Resolved launch accessibility by indenting icon 2 inches horizontally, resulting in improved navigational proficiency”.
Clients start twerking when they see s*** like that. They don’t know wtf it means, they just showing THEY clients “look, we doin it BIG”
dont get me wrong
the game is far from perfect
but from 1.1 to 1.2 this is good
end of, stop all the extra story time s***
Any word on the DLCs + possible story sequels? I’m doing another play through of that s*** ASAP when they drop those

i get where you’re coming from, but certain aspects of this game were so broken on certain consoles that maybe they thought they should put every little fix in the notes so that people can find the specific problem they were having and know whether or not it’s been addressed so they can start playing again.
either way, though, they’re fixing stuff so i’m not mad at em. i’m just wondering when they’ll be done updating and patching this lol hope it’s not soon, def needs more work.
i love this logic, makes sense, no sarcasm
hopefully this current patch did enough, i just consider the game in Early Access and moving pretty quickly tbh
new content by summer no doubt

yeah dlc in the summer and then fall will be the PS5 / XSX version release
with even more fixes all i need is patience
i saved the game right before the Point of No Return and have a bunch of side missions i wanna do before i move on, and before those i wanna have the next gen update, i wanna see my Series X pushed to the limit
how's the state of this game? remotely fixed yet? I played like 30 hours worth the first week it came out and just stopped for some reason
