so then ud know the story, the world, the visual design, the audio and a lot of the characters were amazingly crafted

and yeah tons of broken s*** at launch

still broken, im waiting for next gen

but there isnt any other game that is like this

Why are you acting like this game is some next level type game lol

Currently you can argue that it's maybe close to Witcher 3, but i'd disagree

Doesn't come close to something like RDR2

the story, the world and the visual design of The Witcher 3 are also amazingly crafted and yes RDR2 is better than both in many areas but there's even less RPG elements in RDR2 than Cyberpunk which shouldve had more i can admit

why are you comparing Rockstar to CDPR though is my question

when Cyberpunk is fully ready and they put money behind advertising it again with a price drop and more content theyll sell another 5 million copies at least

Because they're both open world action games lol

Only thing missing from RDR2 is the very basic RPG element that exists in Cyberpunk

The current patches they have released for Cyberpunk have been decent, but they'll have to do something crazy to clear their name again.

    i agree with you

i gave Cyberpunk a 7 out of 10 playing on Xbox Series X and The Witcher 3 is an 8.5 and RDR2 is a solid 9 or 9.5

but some people acting like its less than 5 out of 10 or straight up zero but i bet they didnt play it on a powerful enough machine

at least it works now on the XB1 and the PS4 is getting there too

I'd agree with all those scores

Maybe i'd give Witcher 3 a 9 if we include the DLC and RDR2 is a 10/10 for me

Feel like Cyberpunk could've been somewhere between Witcher 3 and RDR2 if they spent more time on it

i dont really like Westerns all that much but if i did i bet RDR2 would be 10/10 for sure

Rockstar been doing this a long time where Cyberpunk is CDPR's first game outside The Witcher and on top of that Cyberpunk has the potential to be bigger and last longer than both RDR and The Witcher franchises, and CDPR intended for that which is why they still didnt have the game ready when it launched

they really gotta catch up and make it worth while long long long after

Yeah but I think people just use CDPR own words against them.

They were hyping it up to be something crazy and up until that time CDPR was pretty reliable, so people just believed it

Scope creep is what hurt CDPR and 2077 most

they showed off too much too early

shouldve flexed the reveal in 2018 and released in late 2022

covid19 is barely affecting Poland so maybe we will get the game fixed by end if 2021 with some new content between now and then

and then 2022 could be chalk full of Cyberpunk content every 90 days

    Definitely.

I remember reading up on something that CDPR needed the money or somethnig, or like the investors were asking for it

If CDPR had more games outside of The Witcher which were able to make them the money (like Rockstar had GTA Online) the game would've had a few more years of development and would've been a classic

not nearly as good as TW3 now but when finished with some DLC could be as good or close and we are comparing 3rd person fantasy to 1st person sci fi as well so they could end up both being legendary titles with bad launches, Cyberpunk's being award-winningly bad though

i laying mass effect 1 and thinking about the jump from kotor to that game made me realize the biggest mistake this game had was releasing for 5 diff platforms all at one time

wish they could have just went all in next gen, could have been a crazy experience

the next gen “update” needs to be a complete re-release that’s an entire overhaul

if the current gen version is uncapped on ps5 then i don’t see any other option but that

i really hope they’re honest this summer about their intentions with the update. i feel like they don’t even know what they want/can do with the game.

they have at least 3 free DLCs coming as well as paid content too, and the next gen version of the game will be out for September most likely

Welp, Cyberpunk 2077 now has a new game director.

I guess that means they plan on No Man Sky-ing it, or something. Can’t imagine why they’d do such a thing otherwise.

  • Hope we get DLC news at Xbox E3 conference.

Biggest L in gaming history considering the amount of hype that was around it.

    Great game

Can’t wait to revisit when (if) more content drops

Beat it a while back, but I’ve been thinking about it
