game always worked passably on ps5 even more so now with that patches they've done.

Why did they even release this s*** for previous gen? It’s obvious they didn’t prioritize it and the way it is past gen can’t handle it.

Game was never bad on next gen. When I played on XSX at the very start before patches and hot fixes I only had one crash and one bug. Should be fine now.

the crowd streaming improvement in the most recent patch is so great. I dont run into duplicates like at all anymore. really pumps up the immersion quite a bit.

I played it on ps5 and experienced a crash about every 40 minutes playing (happened mostly when driving) and a major bug multiple times where I can’t progress quests without reloading a prior save

Well let me correct that: For Xbox next gen I believe it was pretty good before.

Only played the PC version fortunately, but have the PS4 ver & want to platinum it before the next gen version comes out

They should remove all the current blue side jobs from the map and make them more dynamic world events as you move through the map.

Then they should move some of the trash tier yellow side jobs to blue tier.

this way when you try a yellow tier side job it is worth your time always.

then add more dynamic world events that arent always helping the police out and allow you to choose corpo, street kid, nomad type styles.

Anti-Aliasing is a visual effect they put on games so they look smoother and higher quality

Remember the PS5 version will be a different file, so they can work on it completely separately, it won’t be an update to the PS4 version, for instance

I am late on this but I played this recently on my PS4.

Kinda surprised to see some of the hate that feels unwarranted. Not even about the bugs but moreso the story, like people writing their own narratives in their head about HOW the story should be since they didn't like how this one played out.

Seeing the 2018 demo, some changes are apparent like the 3rd person cutscene which would have been cool but people acting like it's whole another game.

Nowhere near perfect, had potential for lots more but it had some really great moments and ideas.

Yeah I really enjoyed it and it played fine on my Series X. I haven’t played it since I beat it like a month or so after launch. Really need them to release some DLC and the like so I can hop back in.
