They’ve been speaking highly of This upcoming 1.5 update that’s dropping alongside the next gen upgrade. They’re banking on this being the turning point for the game.

In the earnings call, they said they’ve reworked various game systems among other changes. I’m curious to see how it all pans out

been completely playable and decent fun since 4-6 months after release, do you even have the game???

I feel like any game can be “good” if they get to drop it, hear all the complaints, then take a year and a half to make changes. The whole point of a good game is buying it, playing it, and being entertained off rip. Not waiting a year and a half for it to be playable. Greedy muhfuckas shouldnt have dropped it when they did, and they should've taken the time to polish it and release it on next gen.

outside of fixing the bugs and the performances, i feel like if in the next version they bring more life into the city and add a decent number of rpg elements that were missing so far, a lot of people could change their mind about this game

but idk if the next patch will go that far

Imo, even without the bugs, it’s just not that great of a game

they definitely fixed most of the bugs

AI routing and density is a current focus for the 1.5 patch as well as adding the missing content for free, to mend broken promises AND some completely new content by way of DLC

im just waiting for the 4K60 optimization on Xbox because the 1080p @ 60fps doesnt rly look too great in this game/on a big 4K screen

after that we'll get a whole new expansion

by 2023 this game will be amazing and there STILL wont be a true competitor to compare it with

there's also no release date, for them "on time" is before the summer this year, as early into 2022 as they can make it without rushing or crunching

Been thinking about this game recently, probably since it’s been about a year since the disappointment. I’ll probably cop the PS5 version when it comes out, at this point all I’d like is a game where simply driving around an interestingly designed world is fun

And people will defend this s*** lol. 343 does it, EA does it, Activision does it, and this company does it. Don't get how people let it slide and say it's okay.
