How the f*** is there still NO updates or release date on the next gen version?

As much as it sucks they really gotta straight abandon last gen consoles and go straight for just making the next gen version as good as it can be and i think they’d be more forgiven over time. Trying to fit the next version for both is going to hold it back so much and last gen consoles flat out don’t have the power to let them be ambitious in the way they wanted.

why would they try and fit the next gen version on last gen? are u reading ur words? the next gen update is for next gen consoles only, the only updates coming to last gen are bug fixes and dlc content

I’m saying i want it to be a real next gen overhaul not just a next gen update with better frame rates and possible raytracing. From what i seen it looks like they wanted to update the game on all platforms but add more bells and whistles to the next gen.

need at least 1440p on next gen with 60fps minimum no drops, draw/view distance and popins/popouts need to be gone

these are things they wont bother with on XB1 or PS4

besides that the game needs more bug fixing, a few reworked systems and more story/quest content which could be for all platforms

“Samurai” might be related to V’s secret mansion that you can only get to with glitch-platforming (hence the “new game plus”).

So, it could be yours plus a garage of sorts too (like the notes mention).

Overall VERY excited to get back into the game on PC when they roll out DLCs (hopefully story sequel DLCs). This time around, I might 100% it tbh.
