Am I the only one thinking that the media player that they added is ass ?
Like what do you mean I can only pick Radio stations instead of curating my own playlist ?
F***ing Saints Row 3 a game that came out 13 YEARS ago gives you the ability to do it
Lol if this is considered a good open world the bar is on the floor, coming from someone who liked the game
It’s not the best open world but it’s immersive as f*** and the city architecture is brilliant

Immersiveness based primarily in fidelity/scale imo, but agreed
I think i got the worst DLC ending by mistake. Ended up siding with Reed in the undercover mission, then Somi went psycho and I ended up killing her after she asked me to. The ending felt so anti climatic, after everything all I got was $5000 and 2 discussions with Reed about how he shouldn’t feel sad. Luckily I made a save right before the face mask mission, i’m definitely going back and doing the other one.
this is the route i took and yeah felt like s*** afterward but man Reed constantly blaming me for his own plan fouling s\*\*\* up for Alex and Song was really testing me though... i get it
thinking on it, the lose-lose-lose-lose-lose ending for PH sucks for the player (me) but was the best one for Reed. because he, at long last, wakes the f\*\*\* up at the end and considers leaving the NUSA.
edit
also i found it interesting the ending movie kinda suggests that the 'side with reed/kill song' ending is the "most canon" since the cynosure core and the flatlining biomon are so heavily featured throughout as well as memories from Reed and Song's past just like during the playthrough. really made it hit harder after the choices i made
at least i got "the star" ending so its not all bad and Reed does leave tho half by choice/half bc no one would answer his calls
180 hours btw
Just started Phantom Liberty, man this runs like ass on the Series X
weird on my xbox it’s ran pretty great

Traversal on foot and combat outside of Dogtown was usually near 60 for me. But I could really feel it dipping at some points, especially around the Moth bar in Dogtown. It felt almost like it was 40 fps sometimes.
Hopefully you can see the dips and hitches in this clip, this’s about the worst it ever got. Luckily I bought a tv with VRR about halfway through my playthrough so it didn’t bother me as much after that.

Phantom liberty was phenomenal but I still wish we coulda got crystal palace heist DLC. Missed opportunity
id like to imagine the sequel is SOOO good but im not gonna lie
without AI these worlds will never be immersive enough
like i dont want AI replacing creative/dev but i know for sure AI will make NPCs and world building events so much more immersive

Well it's definitely not but I don't think AI would solve the problem

NPCs are literally a very basic form of artificial intelligence and advancement in AI will most certainly improve that
and AI will also help with performance and bug fixing, something the first game suffered
just makes me want to do another run tbh
well i guess im doing a nomad run now
is it a bad idea to grind for a build before i continue the story
wanna get to lvl 60 and upgrade my cyberware and everything, been doing gigs and ncpd scanners
