Obvious Cole diss aside it's interesting that more 'street rappers' actually come from the streets than ever before but lyrical street rappers have disappeared

  • Ice cube was a good business student that did very well in college and wrote for all of NWA who cares man

Cole graduated from college magna c***laude with a 3.8 GPA.

If it's really a diss, then he needs to have the correct info.

But all that aside, he's right.

  • There’s a lil truth to that. Cordae is the epitome of this

Kind of true but educational decline is actually the real reason lyrical rap is no longer mainstream. Just a wasteland of dumb rappers and dumb fans.

But yeah street stories>>normal dude stories.

  • Trap and drill music made rappers not want to be lyricists

  • Cole raps about more street s*** than Kendrick he's just very repetitive about it

are doechii Kendrick and j Cole not mainstream? And was the rise of art movements like German expressionism also due to an uneducated populace?

You can rap about other stuff than the streets. Look at J Cole. College educated. He raps about how the streets are bad. Crazy creative

I love Cole but he's never struck me as 'crazy creative'

just a really great mc with a real story that's relatable

typically makes dope beats, but not Crazy beats
