Drumless RAM is out tonight, but here's something way cooler.

Thomas Bangalter, JR, and Damien Jalet (choreographer of 2018's Suspiria and Thom Yorke's ANIMA) did this in Paris last weekend:

First electronic work by Bangalter since DP's split.

His score is only like 2 tracks which I believe are both variations of each other. The total tracklength is like 15 mins.

But it's supposed to be a good movie and anything Bangalter/Guy-Man touch end up somehow being attuned to my tastes, so I'm down to check it out.

ok, I didn't know it was only 2 tracks, but it makes sense since Quentin Dupieux's movies are usually about 1h10 - 1h15 long, they're really short

Yeah, 15 mins out of 75 mins is a fifth of the movie lol

his last movie (named Yannick) only had like 2 songs in it plus the end credits theme. that's just his style lol

Thomas Bangalter will apparently feature on Wolfgang Flur's next solo album (Wolfgang Flur is a former member of Kraftwerk)

early screening for new quentin dupieux movie is tomorrow evening
dupieux himself will be there & he's hosting a q&a sequence after the movie
i'll try to ask how and why he came to Thomas for that movie's soundtrack and if they know each other, are friends etc
