@ThomFork
ok so
i just watched Daaaaaali by Quentin Dupieux
the movie itself is about a journalist who is trying to interview Salvador Dali for a documentary but there's this whole "different layers of reality" thing going on, it's very absurd and nonsensic as you would expect from a dupieux movie (its still quite funny tho)
the score by Thomas is just basically this flamenco guitar loop, which has several slight variations throughout the movie (5 according to quentin himself) but honestly it's nothing really special. its simplistic, repetitive and cyclical nature is coherent with the movie's structure and Dali's psyche but I don't think i'll listen to it on Spotify or whatever after watching the movie
I asked quentin why did Thomas score this film. He basically said that they both knew each other for a while, he was supposed to score one of Quentin's previous movies (he's actually very prolific, he releases like one movie per year) and he read the script for this one and he liked it so he wanted to get on it. Dupieux said he was glad Thomas accepted because he usually does excellent work and he felt like his score would help make his film better (which it did)
This will never release.
I. REPEAT.

Bangalter's new film score is out now on Spotify

Just two tracks tho
A top album of the decade just sitting on a hard drive somewhere
who knows though if it really is. Perhaps it just sounds like B sides to RAM
theres prob a reason they ain't wanna put it out
there it is
fun fact: this is the only track (except for some slight variations) playing in the entire movie, and it repeats an ungodly amount of times

The second track on the link I posted earlier is probably all of the variations in one 6.5 min song haha
We're hopefully getting another surprise on 2/22 for the third year in a row
EDIT: INTERSTELLA remaster hinted at
