make sure what you're downloading is actually mono, there are "original mixes" for both stereo and mono so if it says original it still might be stereo
im sure theres a good one with only mono you can find

Steve Hoffman forums saying Mono of Revolver is way better, hopefully that's the version I end up getting
@Water_Giver I might be an idiot, but this s*** seems hella complicated even on YouTube Currently checking out a version of Revolver uploaded by Free Sky that has Full Album 1996 in the title. Not sure if this is Mono but it seems to be coming out of one speaker. Lead vocals sound kinda dull tho and I think the backing vocals sound more feminine than the remaster
That sucks if true
Beatles official youtube channel iirc has originals n remasters of everything thats where i posted mine (an og from their channel) & i know for sure someone has uploaded og vinyl n cassette rips all over youtube
Ima be sure to check their channel out
they be trynna play them but they have more than a handful of well written/composed songs

I see an 8GB torrent called Stereo and Mono Box Sets + Extras. But both are 2009 Remasters. Which might still be fine, I thought the 2009 remasters were Stereo only

the mono box set was released on the same day as the stereo remasters. only stereo made it to streaming.
So it's all 2009 remasters. Specifically 09/09/09 because Beatles liked the number nine.

Yeah i just looked it up & its weird af lmao.
I couldnt play the actual videos but most of them regarding the comments n descriptions they are either a cover band or the remasters in every video i picked. For some reason its one of the very few albums of theirs that is weird on youtube. Might be copyright that goes hard on a few select albums.
Weird as hell. There are easy zips n drives from reddit n google you can get easily tho.
Their official channel does have revolver in full but it might only be remaster.

The 18GB collection I'm currently torrenting is called Discography:EMI/Capitol Years (1963-2010) (Original Masters and remasters) 43 albums, lossless
So I think this SHOULD have everything I'm looking for

GOAT BAND
however they were really only the undisputed best band going from '62-'64
After that the competition was ridiculous and they were getting steadily showed up by The Kinks etc

If you're a big enough fan it's worth it to go through all the songs and decide which ones you like best in mono. Alot of them still sound better in stereo imo.
ones with especially s***ty stereo like Taxman is always gonna sound markedly worse than mono no matter what you're listening on
Definitely prefering stereo taxman

Ok Mr Lou Reed outperformed Jeff Beck in '66 let's carry on this discussion next month when we move on to 1966. Very close to finished my '65 list.
Can tell you now that no beedles made my top 10 of that year a decade ago it wouldve been In My Life, Girl and Seen A Face but ngl they haven't kept their replay value over the years like some stuff has.
