You think they lyrically went in anywhere on Abbey Road? Only George did, romantically, on Something

yes well I'm more of a romantic than you
when you see how many of Gene Clarks ballads swamped my '65 list hows he manage to make heartache and yearning sound so epic even with '65 instrumentation
Listened to magical mystery tour & revolver for the first time. Great albums. What other beatle albums should I check out
to be honest, their truly worth listening to from their debut album to the last. to see their artistic evolution in literally a 7 year span is insane. but the real essential listens are Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's, The White Album, & Abbey Road, in that order too! (I left out Revolver and MMT because you mentioned that you've already heard those). I would also say listen to Help! too as well. you're in for a treat man.
@op listen to this expeditiously
this song is fine art right here
You can't miss with any of their albums.
IMO The White Album might be the greatest album of all time, but you'd probably like Rubber Soul and Abbey Road a lot if you're digging that stuff.
But the best entry point for anyone who really wants to dive in would be The Red Album and The Blue Album. These are compilations they put out decades ago that are extremely comprehensive and the structure is amazing. Four discs total, moving more or less in chronological order.
The Beatles 1962-1966 (The Red Album)
The Beatles 1967-1970 (The Blue Album)
Greatest band of all time.
great post mate! interesting take on The White Album being the greatest album of all time, I'd love to hear a deeper take on why you think that? & also drop what you think are the top t greatest LP's ever.
Also Pink Floyd better
not consistent enough. Beatles never dropped a mediocre project, let alone even a bad one. but I will say Pink Floyd might have the greatest artistic achievement in rock ever with Dark Side of The Moon.
In all seriousness, never listened to the Beatles
Shoot some recommendations
start with Help!

Floyd really overrated off that one album bro. Beatles are better. And I was an enormous hater. Once I tuned in with a fat blunt, I couldn’t help but sing along. Classic tunes, revolutionaries in sound. Their records are Incredibly well put together.
Listen to the new mixes from the last few years. The old mix in stereo is absolute s*** cuz they hard panned everything. Like it’s just a pain to listen to any of the original mixes on headphones.
Lmfao word i need all that s*** in Mono

Giles Martin really a blessing helping The Beatles sound contemporary without f***ing with the actual music.
ain’t that his killer in the cut?
Yeah it's a crazy pic, killed him hours later
overrated as f***
imagine dying with these haircuts
my casket would close itself out of shame

I wouldn't call them overrated at all. The Dark Side of The Moon is an amazing accomplishment alone, and one of the greatest albums ever. and they also have The Piper at The Gates of Dawn, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall under their belt as well which are regarded as all timers in their genre. so i wouldn't say their overrated, their just not The Beatles haha.
