yes
people going to rush itt to show how special they are by disliking the beatles
It’s gotta be the most boring take in the current year to be like “uhh actually I think the Beatles are bad”.
this will sound crazy maybe but Elvis had the best album of '69 or Neil Young or Fleetwood Mac
Abbey Road nice af but nothing with Silver Hammer or Oh Darling can be taken very seriously
Fairport Convention had an opus too
Kinks Arthur
CCR had 2 classics
Sir Douglas Mendocino
Sly Stones Stand
The Band
Gilded Palace Of Sin
The Stooges
The Velvet Underground
King Crimson nice but im not a big prog guy
Since when is Oh Darling considered a bad song
The early Beatles s*** isnt that great (obviously there’s exceptions like Yesterday, Ticket To Ride & If I Fell) but MAN their run from Rubber Soul to Abbey Road is one of the greatest runs ever.
People on here love to hate because they’re white and SLIGHTLY overrated and also love to use the moral thing about John Lennon slapping his first wife once to justify their hate. Meanwhile the same people on here will also stan R. Kelly.
Should I listen to 2009 remasters or originals? Seen people in another thread say mono > stereo but I think I prefer the remastered While My Guitar Gently Weeps over the OG
Listen to the new mixes from the last few years. The old mix in stereo is absolute s*** cuz they hard panned everything. Like it’s just a pain to listen to any of the original mixes on headphones.

Not bad just fluff
I have a blast singing it

Fluff is good. You need a little bit of it on a record like that.

Like what? They didn't really go deep on any songs

Meanwhile people on here still caping for Boosie after he readily admitted to paying a prostitute to molest his child.

Or telling Lil Nas X to kill himself for being open about his sexuality.
Point being made, no one should act morally Righteous when it comes to music because they will cap for the ones they like or love.

what do you mean by "deep" and how is I Want You (She's So Heavy) "deep" for a beatles song

They didn’t really go deep on any album. I just meant it’s a pretty dense record stacked with classics.

I was gonna use that as an example too. I also think Because is just transcendent. Every time I hear that I feel like I’m transported to another dimension.

bro I Want You is like the most naff Lennon lyric ever yeah it's heavy but it's not like hes poetically baring his soul

You need to listen to White Album again
Julia is shattering, for once example
Abbey Road does not seem dense to me
More interesting ideas packed into one side of Rubber Soul

oh you're just talking lyrically
