We are the Dead
HM for Sweet Thing as well.
Gotta appreciate that cover too even if it's a Jagger/Stones bite
underrated ass album, feel like its always overshadowed by diamond dogs
young americans, fame and win some of his best songwriting to me. They're all up there with the best songs he ever made imo

The artwork? as I’ve just posted about it, Bowie rang up Guy before Mick did
imo the best is Big Brother, most underrated Bowie classic gem, it’s next to Station To Station in terms of his most ambitious songwriting crafting
Also really does justice to the book, more than 1984 at least imo

Pretty sure Mick/bowie both said Bowie got the idea because Mick showed him his idea round his house first?
Could be wrong but sounds like a bowie move The covers are both different enough but it lowkey would be like Drake calling up Condo after Ye had told him he wanted to do MBDTF with him. But, if the account I read was wrong then obviously it would be the other way round
yea especially fame
fr was his best ever single to me really. it was the moment he captured the immediacy of the music he loved in the 60s that he'd talked about not being able to catch before
Also want to know what everyone's 3 favorite albums from Bowie are?
For me Station to Station, Young Americans (surprisingly), and Hunky Dory.
Black Star and The Rise and Fall are runner ups.
