The show heavily implies that he deleted himself
but Simon still notes the official report and doesn't blatantly show him doing the deed...I could understand the controversy if he flat out showed dude off himself but despite implying he left it up to interpretation...bc it DOESN'T make sense that anyone would put a hit out on the dude unless there's something about his life they didn't know about...definitely odd they never solved the "murder" though with an official suspect or anything

His back and forth on twitter with Sean's lawyer isn't helping. I mean yeah, sure, it doesn't make sense that this hasn't been solved, but that's the thing with adapting real life cases for TV : real people are involved and it's a sensitive subject
the script and acting was so bad, felt like a school play. was cool to see everyone from the wire though and bernthal is bernthal
Jon Bernthal performance in this is some of the greatest acting ive ever seen. One of the GOAT tv performances on a very short list imo. Hes phenomenal. Hes always been good in everything but his performance in this has elevated him to another level in my mind. Force of nature.
The first four episodes i was thinking this is show was f***ing amazing. I think the fact its based on a true story made the last two eps not as satisfying..like if it was fictional it woulda been more climatic and more threads wouldve connected, more character payoffs. But its true so things had to play out like they did in real life.
Still A really good show. If youre a fan of the wire you have to watch
Can someone explain why that guy thought Jenkins was so smart for driving the wrong way in that alley? Was it just a bs excuse for probable cause?

Rob Pattinson and Bernthal need to do a scumbag two-hander.
Good Time sequel, I'm down
Finally caught up and finished it all, really great mini-series. David Simon's still on his A game.
I really hope he gets back to multi-season tv though, been itching for something like Treme or The Wire from him.
1 episode in and loving it. feels like a proper Wire sequel. already mad I've only got 5 episodes left lol

did you watch the deuce? might be my second favourite show from him, that s*** was incredible

Yea, I absolutely loved that s***
Might have to re-watch now that it's all out and I've forgotten enough to experience it again
This s*** was phenomenal. I was really liking it all the way through, but the finale was unreal
