    Yeah b****, that's right!
" How Do I Make You Love Me?" will be the 3rd song discussed in our new series where we will be discussing each individual song off of Abel's new, highly anticipated project, Dawn FM!
Still seems surreal we are able to discuss Abel's new album, but here we are!

Here is a template to use to help discuss a song, though it is not necessarily required. Feel free to discuss it however you would like.

    GOOD QUESTIONS TO ANSWER:
    Rating out of 10
    Favourite line or quote
    Thoughts on production**
    Overall ranking in album
Experiences or thoughts while listening to this song**

**PS. on this part, if you want, before answering consider googling "Weeknd Dawn FM Instrumental", cause this album has dedicated a lot of attention to the production part, and with the official song, the vocals obviously steal most of the listener's attention

Let me know what sort of other things I can include in these daily song discussions to make them better.

In my top 5 of the album

Fave line is the hook How do I make you love me, how do I make you fall for me, how do I make you want me, and make it last eternally?

How he raises his voice for the second and fourth lines really elevates it from just a generic pop chorus. And those lines are so blunt but so universally about unrequited love and I just feel it so strongly in my life rn lol

Also we’ve come a long way from “I left my girl back home
I don't love her no more
And she'll never f***ing know that”

But the real star of the song is the music. That second verse, when the hi hats (or snares maybe?? Ngl idk the specific names) come in and then the next measure the deep like bass drum comes in ohhhhh s*** not a human alive could keep from moving their body to that. Then to cap it all off the cool ass transition into TMB. Love it.

Imo this song perfectly encapsulates the entire theme of the album

the hook is my fav part. its funereal. that falsetto really makes it sound like its coming from another world.

instrumental is layered af. the musicianship on it is amazing. It doesnt sound like just a beat. its really does sound like the some late 70s/early 80s disco classic that was labored over. incredible
