Who is asking for a Batgirl project?

On one hand I’m down with this but it’s gonna end up in audience fatigue, there’s no way around that.

I cannot f***ing believe they’re not using a Pattinson Batman to re start the JL, and instead we’re getting another “realistic” take.

This year we will see if "MCU Fatigue" or just overall "Superhero Fatigue" is real with MCU releasing 8+ projects

I’ve loved comic books my whole life so I’m down, but over saturation is a very real thing.

The mcu worked because no one had ever seen that done before, and almost all of those characters were new to a lot of people.

On the other hand we’re getting mcu fantastic four and x-men so things could definitely keep firing on all cylinders.

I just don’t understand what DC is doing. I’m a huge batfleck fan and I’m really excited to see Snyder close out his trilogy appropriately, but branching into two “earths” permanently seems f***ing insane to me. Audiences are obviously “sophisticated” enough to understand but it doesn’t mean they’ll care.

If Pattinson is Batman in Earth 2, how are Affleck and Keaton both Batman in Earth 1?

For the record I love the idea of an older Batman played by Keaton being the nick fury type of character, I just don’t understand.

The second Batman is Keaton and more than likely he won’t have his own solo films. The only solo Batman franchise will be Pattinson.

I thought it was the other way around: Affleck only coming back for one film.

Either way, Batman's my favorite fictional character of all time so I'm excited, I just hope they don't f*** this up. I'm still so confused on why they wouldn't make a Robert Pattinson Batman the launchpad of a new DCEU, especially when we've already got an incredibly trilogy from Nolan with a realistic take.

It just seems like they are trying to salvage the original DCEU and that's why Affleck is still Earth 1

Okay, this sounds epic then. I'm still sort of confused on how three different Batman's exist in only two earths, but maybe Pattinson is not in either of those, and he's in his own (third?) continuity, maybe the same world that Joker takes place in?

I do love the idea of the Flash existing in Affleck universe, and traveling to Keatons, and then Keaton playing an old wisened Batman coming out of retirement to be a Nick fury type of character. Maybe he's already been training a Nightwing/Robin/Batgril character who will be the younger "Bat Family" stand in.

I wonder if in this possible scenario, they'll just start bringing in all new actors (aside from Ezra and Keaton) for Superman, WW, Aquaman, etc and slowly build up to a new Justice League. It would actually be really cool to see, for example, a new Superman (Michael B. Jordan???, wasn't it rumored for JJ to direct a Superman movie with him starring?) join this universe. Keaton Batman can operate in the periphery of these films.

Here’s how I think they’re gonna do it:

Ben will be in the beginning of the Flash, then Barry will head to the Burton-verse of the first two Batman films. Then somehow (through Flashpoint or sacrifice idk) Ben will no longer be in the main DCEU and with things wrapped up in the Burton-verse, Keaton jumps to the DCEU (Earth 1)
