MCNperhaps the craziest part of all of this is how close he was to getting away with it. had he taken the body to somewhere in the middle of the desert no one probably ever finds out.
I don’t know man she was still missing and he did it in his garage . Ordered the evidence . Paid kids to get her a phone . May have taken longer but he made many egregious moves

Idk. The timeline between being reported missing and her body being found is so long and nothing indicates they were looking into him for her disappearance during that time.
I don’t have statistics but I have to imagine after a year and a half of someone being reported missing authorities aren’t actively looking into the case.
Had her body not been found I think there’s a really good chance she would have just been forgotten about and he would have gotten away with it.

for a murderer to leave a chopped up body in a car registered in his name at an impound, it's begging to be caught. that's the part i don't get, maybe he was feeling sub conscious guilt about it and did that to self snitch on himself? but he don't give off that vibe, seems like he thought he got away with it?

as far as his discord group goes, i believe all discord text messages are recorded and can be brought up by police, i don't think they can do the same for discord audio/video calls due to the double ended encryption discord uses, however this doesn't apply to text messages, these are logged with discord

Nah, he definitely wouldn't have gotten away with it lol. Even if she ran away from home, where was she staying? She probably wasn't living alone, she probably got friends. School? Eventually people would've started looking for her, police would've been led to this guy based on the Uber and the weird discord/pedo s*** would've been discovered

this for example. there are multiple groups like this. most horrific s*** i ever seen/heard btw. but a lot of these people haven't been caught yet and still doing this s***, the group in the video is marked as the highest tier terrorist organisation by the FBI. a lot of the abuse was carried out over discord calls/video chats. yet the cops only seemed to get leads from text messages. i do know that when you sign up for whatsapp, telegram, discord, it's part of the terms & conditions of these platforms to follow the law, if you don't, you lose your right to privacy. but there still is double ended encryption with the calls/video chats/streams, i genuinely don't think discord logs calls/video calls, they aren't stored or recorded but the text messages are always logged for safety and monitoring purposes.
the internet was always a scary place but i didn't even realise how bad it actually was until i watched that video, i was the same as you and just assumed the cops could get anything they wanted but apparently not, for example of some of the s*** they did on video calls, they coerced a mentally ill person to set himself on fire and die, multiple hangings live on discord video chats, and countless forms of CA. cops are pretty f***ing stupid at times too, this group name is 764 which is the area code for Stephenville, Texas. It still took the feds 8 months to find the founder of the group, during that time he built a whole network which carries on after his arrest still to this day. he literally told everyone where he lived. everyone involved knew his name was bradley. he wasn't hiding either, when they raided his s*** and arrested him he was at his moms house in Stephenville.

based on the evidence as it continues to come out, there would've been more than enough. a lot of this stuff doesn't exactly expire; whether it's her dental records if they eventually found her skeleton, or the at most 40tb of evidence of them engaged in an obvious sexual relationship. he absolutely would've been burned on something prisonworthy for sure the second they started investigating it. s*** was in his icloud man

This is why to me he obviously was going to ditch the body and the car,
or ditch the car with the body in it,
claim his car was stolen
so that in the event his car was found, he would of blamed celeste's death on the person who 'stole' the car.
He kind of hinted at this initially when he was telling people his 'car had been stolen'

Somebody would've noticed she's gone eventually, whether it's her parents or a friend or her school (if she's going to one). Police would've reached out to this guy during their investigation. And he would've been caught because he's a dumbass who left hella evidence

I think he initially wanted to dump her body in SB, but found out that it was too complicated for a variety of reasons
so he and some other individual or individuals hatched this dismember the body and throw away the tesla theory and that other individual fell through.

We'll see what evidence the state has exactly (possibly. Depending on the deal, I think he might avoid trial for a lesser sentence when he realises how f***ed he is)
But I think even without the body, you got evidence of him paying for an Uber. Police would just need to question the driver/check his tracker if available. The 2 chainsaws he bought online. Ask him where they are now, test them for blood. Blue light in the garage would show there was hella blood in there. Seize his phone and find the CP on there. Discord messages about him being involved with a minor, the stream s*** about him going to her school, showing fake Celestes on stream etc
There's enough evidence to link him to her disappearance without the body. He was f***ed once any law enforcement investigated him regarding this
