But I think even without the body, you got evidence of him paying for an Uber. Police would just need to question the driver/check his tracker if available. The 2 chainsaws he bought online. Ask him where they are now, test them for blood. Blue light in the garage would show there was hella blood in there. Seize his phone and find the CP on there. Discord messages about him being involved with a minor, the stream s*** about him going to her school, showing fake Celestes on stream etc

There's enough evidence to link him to her disappearance without the body. He was f***ed once any law enforcement investigated him regarding this

Yeah I mean, it's a f***ed situation regardless but at least in that scenario, he can 'plausibly' say he doesn't know what happened to her and that he reported his car stolen around the time she went dark or whatever.

The best surefire evidence of death is her body, and as a previous runaway, that would of bought him even more time before suspicions heightened even more and by the time they got around to seriously suspecting david, so much more evidence would have deteriorated AND they wouldn't have the body

When you have this much linkage, any defense will be messy but you're done if they find the body, much less find the body in YOUR CAR.

But yeah, I said it in this thread, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he pleads guilty to all the s***abuse minor s***, and gets a deal where he pleads guilty to 2nd degree murder, and says it was a spur of the moment thing got scared and panicked or something

this for example. there are multiple groups like this. most horrific s*** i ever seen/heard btw. but a lot of these people haven't been caught yet and still doing this s***, the group in the video is marked as the highest tier terrorist organisation by the FBI. a lot of the abuse was carried out over discord calls/video chats. yet the cops only seemed to get leads from text messages. i do know that when you sign up for whatsapp, telegram, discord, it's part of the terms & conditions of these platforms to follow the law, if you don't, you lose your right to privacy. but there still is double ended encryption with the calls/video chats/streams, i genuinely don't think discord logs calls/video calls, they aren't stored or recorded but the text messages are always logged for safety and monitoring purposes.

the internet was always a scary place but i didn't even realise how bad it actually was until i watched that video, i was the same as you and just assumed the cops could get anything they wanted but apparently not, for example of some of the s*** they did on video calls, they coerced a mentally ill person to set himself on fire and die, multiple hangings live on discord video chats, and countless forms of CA. cops are pretty f***ing stupid at times too, this group name is 764 which is the area code for Stephenville, Texas. It still took the feds 8 months to find the founder of the group, during that time he built a whole network which carries on after his arrest still to this day. he literally told everyone where he lived. everyone involved knew his name was bradley. he wasn't hiding either, when they raided his s*** and arrested him he was at his moms house in Stephenville.

The most concerning part about this stuff to me is that a lot of the people active in it as perpetrators are under 18, usually in their early-mid teens
