It was alright. Felt like CW No Way Home in some parts namely when you see elektra, blade and gambit come on the scene. Victims of those typical movie quips( not jokes but cliche lines at moments of importance)

Jokes are ok, maybe shot 40% on them.

This whole TVA arc is no bueno. The conflation of timelines with universes and branches and all that s*** is not right or compelling to me.

There’s no black priests no black swans. They can’t hamfist them in and they can’t replace them with the s***ty TV alternative.

AvX can’t be Avengers 5, that’s a mistake imo. A waste of an event capable of saga long content.

You didn't enjoy Tom Wambsgams in the TVA segments?

I don’t enjoy whatever it is they are trying to do with it. He was fine

im sure its been discussed but i def noticed the secret wars comic when deadpool landed in the void. almost was too obvious

  • I thought this was the best Deadpool film tbh

The action alone was legit amazing, and the cameo’s made me mark the f*** out. Surprised at how much they even let Deadpool criticise current MCU lmao

I definitely marked out for Johnny, Blade, and Gambit. Knew Elektra was in this so that wasn’t a shock and Marvel themselves spoiled X-23. I really dug how this was kind of framed as a tribute to the Fox films (and Blade). The lines about Channing wanting to be Gambit for so long got me.

I was kind of surprised that this ended with the X-Men universe staying in tact and Deadpool staying there. That does make for a better open and close film without the promise of something in the future. But it also totally tells me they’re doing Avengers vs. X-Men or something like that for Avengers 5.
Paradox running a rogue wing of the TVA works for me because I was always wonder why things seemed off there in comparison to where the TVA was left off at the end of Loki.

Overall I had a really good time watching this and I’m excited to see it again tomorrow.

Also the 5 year old in me absolutely LOVED the opening being set to Bye Bye Bye and Deadpool doing the dance moves

Didn't everyone hate the old Fantastic 4 and Electra? They are now doing nostalgia-bait for characters people hated

Man I was like 8 when those came out

Like they’re not good movies but it was cool seeing the actors reprise their roles. The actors weren’t the problem
