what's ur experiences with it?
I've never been to a funeral or even really known someone who passed, my grandparents all died before i was even born so like...
but I've killed a lot of animals and lost a couple pets
also had two sort of near death experiences so that's neat maybe
also had like ego death on psychedelics so yeah
anyway I'm curious what other ppl got to say bout death
similarly to you OP, it hasn’t hit me yet. either the death happened when i was too young to really grasp it, or it’s been people connected to me, but not within my immediate sphere as i’ve grown older. i fear death like crazy though.
Why you killing animals
On a serious note tho, it definitely is eerie seeing the lifeless body of someone you once knew infront of you.
Goes to show that life ain't s***. Here today, gone tomorrow.
dealt w family deaths all my life, including my father at 6
had a life saving brain surgery 15 hours after the bleed started
p numb to death at 27
My dad died but I was a kid and I didn't see it don't remember how I reacted
My mom died on our living room floor
It's disturbing watching someone die especially if it's not like in their sleep or something like you watch them fight to try to stay there then they just stop and are gone forever
Why you killing animals
Had a "pest problem" in the backyard aka pigeons and my parents were like "hey can you take care of those" and handed me a pellet revolver and rifle
Also one time when i was older my dog caught a squirrel trying to escape under the door into the house and he just ripped the little dude open and then left him to die, i stumbled upon the guy later after smoking a whole joint to myself and it was lowkey traumatic cuz i could see the little dude suffering and knew i had to put him out his misery but i didn't have no guns anymore so i just hulk smashed a cinderblock down onto the guy

s*** that's crazy
i think the only reason i still feel pretty desensitized to videos like that is cuz I've never been close to anyone's death
Im not afraid of dying but terrified of my loved ones dying. Ive experienced that a few times.
However after my cat died almost two years ago I feel like ive been desensitized to it in a weird way that kinda bothers me
The concept of reincarnation scares me more than death itself

Yeah when it's happening right infront of you it's pretty different especially if it's someone you care about

damn im so sorry you had to see that i cant imagine how hard it would be
Had my father pass away at 19 which was hard of course but it’s a whole different kind of shake up when a childhood friend passes because you think about how that could be you dying at a young age.
Sudden deaths suck because you just wish you could have another conversation with them again saying bye or something.
The unknown is kinda spooky tho I figure it's pretty much just like before you were born
I don't exactly fear it, I mean the only thing everything in the universe has in common is that it all will eventually die, so how can it be that bad?

i actually have a kind of paranoia about sudden death with those I'm close to so i make sure every parting phrase includes "love you" and probably a kiss cuz it doesn't matter if we're having a little spat if i die on the way home from the grocery store so imma kiss a b**** u kno

Yeah you really never know if you’ll see someone again.
