Is stealth not really that viable because enemies can see you from a mile away or am I just ass

It’s absolutely viable. I typically snipe enemies guarding the frontlines, then sneak in to take out the enemies deeper in the base.

If you don’t know you eventually unlock decoy grenades that create holograms that catch enemies’ attention, alongside a silenced tranq pistol and silenced tranq sniper

It can be hard to stay completely unnoticed if it's a big enemy base but with preparation, positioning and the right weapons you can definitely do it.

You can build a Watchtower nearby (if another player hasn't already done it) to quickly scan through the enemy base and automatically mark them which helps you keep track of where they are and thus have an easier time trying to stay out of their eye sight (you can also let Dollman survey the area but his skills are more limited).

If you have a silenced weapon, Maser gun or Bola gun then you can take a few enemies out from a distance without drawing much attention to yourself.

Decoy grenades should also be good to use but I haven't used them outside of one of those VR training sessions.

i do agree with the music isn’t hitting as hard as the first game

but also first game features one of my favorite songs ever

just bought the game on a whim but I think it's a bad idea to have it released just as the summer begins... I really don't wanna spend time on it while the sun is out but I also know myself enough to know that i'm probably gonna fold sooner or later smh
