Is there a moment you defended someone in your life that stands out to you? Why did you or did you not do it?

Personally I can't stand it when people get loud about a point and attack, especially to someone who's closed off and isn't good at responding. So I tend to step in but noticed there is hesitancy towards this from most of my friends, I try to stop myself until I know the situation but I can't help myself lol

Idk about defending some one but one time I was walking down the street and it was kinda late so it was hard to see that well. I seen two dudes jumping some dude and it looked like they was trying rob him and take his chain but dude was lowkey holding his own, he caught a decent left hook that dazed the guy so I went and hopped in. He stood no chance against the 3 of us.

my little brother has Asperger's and was getting bullied so i had to step in with that s*** to make sure nobody said a word to him again when we were both in HS. haven't really had any other situations where i perceived someone as needing defense.

If verbal defense counts, I stand up for my students every day because my supervisor is a f***ing idiot and screws them over all the time. Just this week we had a bunch of students who weren't supposed to walk for graduation because he was too lazy to fix their portfolio and I went and told him what's what.

I've also gotten better at speaking up for my co-workers. If they won't do it, someone has to or nothing is going to change.

yeah my dad and sister are emotionally abusive to my mom and I have to defend my mom from it because she doesn't realize the ways in which she's bullied and insulted left and right. she takes their side anyway and im boxed out of my family dynamic

There was this lame white dude making fun of this deaf native girl at a bar (making fun of her speaking voice and alcoholism among natives) and I told him to knock that s*** off. He started calling me boy, repeatedly, and ended up sucker punching me. I beat his ass and he got taken away in an ambulance. The cracker pulled out seven of my locs in that fight.
