The Democratic Party is also now changing their tune, on checks speaking about 1,400 instead of 2,000. Obviously any amount is an improvement than the original 600, but this is clearly deceiving people who have already struggled enough with covid.

Personally I always understood it as $2,000 total. At one point it was looking like the $600 wasn’t even going to pass, so they said $2,000 checks. Now, if they don’t pass $1,400 soon Democrats deserve to lose in the mid term elections. Fantano is right. This is not hard. You wouldn’t have won GA without this promise. I just don’t think people will be mad about a free $1,400 check even though it’s not $2,000
