They don't control it dude.. they don't have a majority, they're tied. Under Trump's end it was 48/50, now it's 50/50.
They can try now but the same thing will just happen because it will get filibustered. They don't have the 60 votes.

    the vp breaks the tie....

    indivisible.org/resource/legislative-process-101-budget-reconciliation

Now with a 50/50 split in the Senate and Vice President Harris as the tie breaker, Democrats have 51 votes to pass their legislative priorities. This leaves Democrats three options

Engage in bad faith negotiations with Republicans and pass meager and sometimes harmful bipartisan legislation.

Use the budget reconciliation process, which only requires 51 votes to pass, but has severe limitations

Eliminate the filibuster and pass bold comprehensive legislation! (this is the one we want; see more on eliminating the filibuster here)

    yea through budget.

I dont agree with eliminating fillibuster tho. I honestly think laws should have to have more than just 51% percent to pass.

When republicans controlled both would you have wanted to eliminate fillibuster? fillibuster is what saved affordable care act etc
