These ppl will tell you we’re acting like KnY is something groundbreaking. Just like the Avatar movie the story has been done a thousand times but it’s done to a tee and with really good effects.

Finally started watching Demon Slayer this week and only got two episodes of the first season.

I’m kind of confused about the movie and the second season though. Do the movie and the second season cover the same story arc or are they different story arcs completely?

Like should I watch the movie and then skip to episode 8 of season 2? Or is there added content in the first 7 episodes of season 2 that I need to see?

Aight, so there’s two ways. Either you watch the Mugen Train Arc which adds a bit of content especially the first ep which is completely new. Or you watch the first ep of the Mugen Train Arc and then jump into the movie.

It’s been nonstop high pace action for the last few weeks in this arc it’s absolutely nuts.

The writing and plot armor gets a bit bad at times in this series but thankfully Ufotable is at the wheel because animation like this almost makes you forget about stuff like that.

Tengens assault was so hard and I don't even recall if the anime ever touched on the explosive power of his blades but it was great seeing it in action
