Great movie Really enjoyed learning about Rengoku

As someone who was not a fan of Season 1, the plot and a good bit of the characters, they simply knocked that out the ball park

Even some of the tropes I was expecting to be met with during the movies were squashed. I didn’t think there was any way this red light district arc could get close to what y’all been hyping it up as, but this was a huge step in the right direction...

Now that I view this as a legit competitor to JJK, I’m interested to see who’s the third to make it a big 3

I want to like the series, the highs are pretty good. I loved Muscular fight, the UoJ tourney, Overhaul arc was great to me, and the endeavor fight. I just need them to deliver a payoff for Midoriya

Problem with MHA imo is the fact that 90% of the heroes are trash and boring characters lol

I'm way more hyped for the villain side and tht arc has no heroes at all in there which was fantastic

Definitely gotta give them value for designing legit interesting villains, esp in the context of this being a “kiddy” anime (or considered that)
