Shuheisha has just been unlucky with 2 series lining up together while a third is usually exiting. I guess Black Clover, AOT (which isn’t shonen technically), and MHA could count, but no one really cared about BC

movie was cool! the beginning and the build-up wasn’t too memorable, but i did enjoy seeing everyone’s desires and psyches in their dreams and learning about Rengoku’s back story.

the second half is when it gets nice af tho, got all the best fights and animation, some of which is insanely pretty. they made this s*** look better than season 1, shoutout UFOTable man.

also the feels at the end were crazyyy. can’t believe that lil hoe ass upper demon ran away before Tanjiro could finish the job for Rengoku :snoopsmh: demons rly b\*\*\*\* made af

this is literally just what happens in the movie but instead of beautiful animation with far more fleshed out backgrounds and scenery, it’s beautiful drawings. can’t really compare, but idk how this shows it hitting any harder?
