Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted and intelligent boy who lives with his family, making money by selling charcoal. Everything changes when his family is attacked and slaughtered by demons (oni). Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko are the sole survivors of the incident. Nezuko has now become a demon, but still surprisingly shows signs of human emotion and thought. Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer to help his sister turn human again and to prevent the same tragedy that happened to him and his sister from happening to others.

I was expecting at least one of them to die but both of them hit extremely hard, especially Sanemi calling for Genya as he faded away :jordancry:

A lot of people expected Genya to survive but the moment UM1 and Gyomei said he was dead I knew it was over for him:( Gotouge seriously is NOT playing around with killing characters. In fact this is the most serious I’ve ever seen a shonen series be about killing characters. Even more serious than AOT.

Loved season 1. It’s a little overrated imo but def a 8 or 9/10 to me. Love Tanjiro

easily best animated show of this year, ufotable never disappoints and made it something that will never be forgotten.

sad that demon train only gets a movie instead of them just adapting another season of the anime :(
