Yeah, once you stop treating the game like a hack and slash and take your time to learn the mechanics it's not hard at all. I remember I was like you when I first played bloodborn. That was my first souls game and I was getting destroyed. But it was always on my mind and I went back to it and became a huge souls fan ever since.
The game can be difficult but it is very fair, and like you said once you get the mechanics down it isn't hard.
I've managed to beat the first 2 bosses of every world except the swamp one, only beat Leechmonger. Flamelurker was def the hardest for me, didn't prepare at all for how much damage the fire can do.
Going to do Dragon God later today!
never played a shouls game. you guys think it's worth it? I just don't wanna get frustrated to death and give up lmao

Oh hell yeah, these games can be extremely difficult if you don't take time to learn the mechanics and don't play it like a devil may cry game.
Don't forget certain bosses have a weakness or can be killed with the environment. So it might be good to look up how to beat a boss that's giving you a roadblock. It might be easier than you think.

Yeah they're worth it. Just take your time and don't play it like a hack and slash. These games aren't meant to be played fast pace unless you're a master of the game.

I’m liking it so far. Made it to the second world already
Just started this. Played every soulsborne but never this one. Some parts of the gameplay definitely feel dated but holy s*** magic feels great with the ps5 controller
I’m so new to this how the hell do I figure out where to go at any given time lol

Who cares? I love this game but it didn’t deserve a remake over BB
Easily fromsofts worst
Thought I was hot because I got up to beating the Phalanx with only one death, then the bridge appeared, this game is kicking my ASS

BB doesn’t need a remaster from one generation ago. The only way that would be warranted is if they made it 60FPS, made it multiplat (which Sony wouldn’t do so it would be another PS5 exclusive, the chief complaint about the game as is) and included all the cut content.

Fr. BB needs a sequel, not a remaster

I’d totally be down for a spiritual sequel but BB is too good on its own to really warrant a direct one. It starts and ends almost perfectly with little to be desired from it except more, and direct sequels aren’t really Froms strong point IMO. Miyazaki is at his best when he’s drafting original ideas.

When i first got my PS5,i played this for like a week until i got some more games. You can tell its a good game but sometimes it whips ya ass so hard, you gotta put it down and just come back to it later lol

I’m so tired of hearing people say this. Bloodborne needs at least a 4K60 update, it looks and runs like s*** lmao

That alone does not warrant a remaster unless it’s multiplat at the bare minimum. The 30 FPS takes some getting used to for about the first 30-60 minutes, but it’s fine after that.
F*** it why stop at Bloodborne let’s remaster every great PS4 game that wasn’t 4K 60FPS. And let’s do it every generation for every game that didn’t run at that standard.
