Mad Max Fury Road is probably the only recent movie I've seen at least 5 times in the theater. Jurassic Park might be up there even though I never saw it when it originally released. I saw it in 3D, every anniversary release, and classic movie days in cinemas.

I’m 29 don’t be thinking I’m a grandpa but seeing any movie 10 times in theaters in 2 weeks as someone who likely has adhd / on spectrum sounds painful to me

Can it hold the same hype for 2 years and will it flow perfectly / no delays or any other pandemics

In 2 years I will probably have seen this again, at least a recap on YouTube. If it was dropping next week id just watch the recap because you were right about exposition frenzy

That first hour like I get it’s necessary info and book dense etc . But there has to be a better way that connects with the viewer than rattling off a study guide worth of info . Like there has to be

tried to get through this twice now

start it late at night before bed but still, real slow and boring

beautiful cinematography, cool actors. Just kind of a chore to start out

going to try again this week

Do you think if Dennis had the opportunity to have done this as a series with an amazing budget and the same resources and "freedom" and style would he?

No - He wants it shown in cinemas for a reason, it’s a completely different art form compared to TV

This story as a tv show wouldn’t be bad bro . Y’all got this huge thing about “ only theaters “ while theaters vary in quality lol . Like yes visuals and sound matter but dune is a huge story . The cut scenes from this movie alone look like a complete chunk missing . Imagine part 2 cut scenes

I understand loving this movie to pieces but if you can’t admit the first hour was exposition heavy I don’t know what to tell you
