100% upgrade compared to david lynch’s version

that's some fkn classic 80s CGI tho
it's dated af but I kinda love that scene lol
Never saw tim leading a movie like this so early in his career
im excited
he was the lead of the historical epic the king
this looks kinda flat tbh, like it's very rigidly in a couple of color schemes with low contrast. It looks kinda elegant but also kinda sterile/Fincher-esque. More concerned than hyped after watching the trailer but looking forward to seeing this

there was a little movie called Call Me By Your Name
tim must be drowning in p****
is Dune also a video game?
sure but once NY and Cali fully open up theaters, the US numbers will probably remain pretty good.
The whole point rly is that Tenet is going to be the main draw in theaters for about 8-10 weeks, so whenever people eventually get comfortable to go, Tenet will probably be the major movie they see.
regardless, I don't think WB sees a need to delay Tenet when its doing way f***ing better than Mulan lol. WW84 will probably do even better.
Mulan? Mulan doesn't have any numbers. It's not being shown in the US at all. Only in China.

Mulan got like 1.1 million buys on VOD I think and $6 million last weekend in international markets that it opened at
So that’s a flop

is this like star wars?
not really. dune has better lore and isnt really that similar imo
im not a big Greig Fraser fan really but he might redeem himself with Dune and Batman.
Or ill hate him to the max for ruining the look of two (potentially) great movies.
wish deakins just did every Denis project
Fraser has a list of great films he's done
yall be mad just to feel something

Where did you get those numbers from? There will never be an accurate number on Disney+ Mulan buys... unless Disney releases numbers themselves.
there was a little movie called Call Me By Your Name
Ya I mean a grand scale epic adventure film that wd put up crazy box office
If this flops do you think studios will stop hiring Denis for these big budget films?

Deakins not involved with the cinematography
