People have already 3 maned the raid
Caretaker and final boss so easy to dps

Yea I forget the crazy difference sometimes between contest and regular mode
Late to the party but I hope this content vaulting is a semi-temporary solution. Trying to make sense of the lore and grasp why the duck and I doing all this is damn near impossible as a new player.
Luckily the gameplay is so snappy or else this s*** would’ve been deleted

tbh the raid was pretty easy to dps with contest mode so I’m not surprised that once off, they became a piece of cake

I was really upset with it until I got into being a game dev myself and it seems like they really bloated an aged engine with this game and can’t keep a consistent good experience without vaulting. It’s a shame.

From what I remember when they said they were doing it, it was because they needed to recode those areas and they will eventually be brought back in.

Is it worth upgrading lower level weapons I don’t use in the first game? I got a sniper rifle that’s like 40 attack I upgraded but I already have 50+ weapons so it feels like an waste
Didn’t even realize the black garden was the “finale” for vanilla D1. Story lowkey barebones lol
There’s gotta be more people on ktt still playing regularly cmon I just got addicted

Only if you like the gun/how it feels. You’ll later learn what rolls on guns are good but just focus on figuring out which guns you enjoy using.

They’ve upped the enemy density like crazy during this expansion which is a lot of fun but I feel useless on any class that isn’t my warlock lately

Do TTK then start D2 idk why u wasting time.
Then buy forsaken/shadowkeep/WQ
Beyond light is dogshit but it has a new subclass only reason to buy it although I’d wait a sale for that one

Yeah just beat ttk and got to lvl 40
Downloaded D2 and made my first titan. Still doing the beyond light quest rn, but are the previous expansions still in game (not WQ) connected story wise?
I’ve heard some of them give subclass abilities/exotics.

Forsaken, SK BL and WQ are all connected technically, especially Forsaken but they vaulted the story
U actullaly dont need forsaken now unless they only sell the raid I think now. If u wanna buy it for idk what the price is for best raid in the game, dope raid exotic and a destination still.
Buy SK. BL gives u stasis a new subclass but tbh story was meh but raid was good.
Also shadowkeep comes before beyond light should do that (moon quests) first
legendary sav beating my ass even w suppressing glaive smh i might be washed
edit: got her b**** ass 24 deaths later

I bought the season pass and got an exotic weapon a few levels in, I thought these were high tier weapons why am I getting one this early?

The current season pass?
Every season gives u a seasonal exotic weapon, usually there are two: one u get free from the pass and another is like an exotic mission
Also Destiny 2 is fairly casual, u usually get everything easily, except for the super grindy stuff

Yeah. Okay I think I’m starting to understand the game. So when you get weapon rolls from various activities, you can infuse or use enhancement cores to keep them leveled up to current content? And a lot of your time is spent finding weapons you like and seeing if you make it into a build?
Also the different elemental types/power levels were confusing but I’m understanding now that you don’t always have to be at the highest light for whatever activity you do. And it’s okay to sacrifice a couple levels of power for a gun that works better for you? And I’m working on an subclass quest so I’ve been using a specific exotic even tho it’s under leveled.

Yeh basically, for you since u just started just finish all the story for every expansion and do the raids, dont really gotta worry about best weapons or min/maxing cause its a lot tbh.
Raid weapons, trial weapons are usually the best. Sometimes seasonal weapons are good like for this season the pulse rifle is really good. World weapons with Witch Queen are really good too
