Trying to get back into this game but I f***ing hate how this game makes you buy every single expansion. Literally every other MMO in 2022 just makes you buy the most recent one and it comes bundled with everything else

I thought getting it on game pass would guarantee that I'm always up to date but witch queen isn't even included with it

I can’t believe I was playing D1 a few weeks ago, D2 is better than almost every way

It left console game pass like last year and it left pc game pass a couple weeks ago but I managed to grab everything besides the 30th anniversary pack for 50% off when Xbox had a sale

Might just cop shadowkeep and beyond light on steam since they kinda cheap and then take a look at witch queen later.

Also just seeing that they selling dungeons separately now these mfs get more greedy every expansion wtf

So if I want to get back into this game after a 2 year break I have to pay $130 canadian for witch queen deluxe + 30th anniversary, and another $60 cad for shadowkeep and beyond light

Even through key sites it would be over $100 for everything wtf

Since you could get game pass w the most recent expansion for $1 there were way more cheaters in Trials lol

Nah unfortunately not but they do seem to go on sale regularly (it’s been like twice since I picked up the game like a 2 months ago)

I’m actually playing thru BL rn for statis subclass. Witch Queen is definitely worth it once you get it ive enjoyed it so far.

Trying to understand all the mechanics in this game is lowkey a headache but it’s so satisfying once Ive started to get the hang of it

Not gonna lie I haven't played as much as I thought I would since Witch Queen dropped.

At first it was because of Elden Ring but even after I beat it, idk that seasonal grind just don't hit the same anymore.

Yeah once you get a good build going it becomes so fun

I had a hunter with the flaming knives ult + trip mine grenades. I paired it with an exotic that gave me my trip mines back everytime I rolled near an enemy, and my trip mines would also give me a free roll. I would literally roll, throw a trip mine that would almost one shot, roll again, repeat.

Main thing I'm gonna hate is adjusting to all the new buffs/nerfs and new exotics. Gonna take a while to get a good build going again

Ogs like me and @Electric would prob prefer D1 Taken King era tbh

But yh d2 is def way easier and fast paced

Beyond light is only worth for stasis, overall its ass imo

Shadowkeep should be super cheap so its worth

Buy WQ when its 20% off or 50% off later in the year

I mean I can get it for $25 CAD on cdkeys

But Im just gonna test the waters with shadowkeep and beyond light and see if i really wanna invest more time in the game and we'll see

I've only really played vanilla D1 and Taken King.

Played D1 vanilla until CoO then quit until Forsaken and been playing since then.

I was gonna get back to this, but same. This seasonal content s*** is so boring, same activity x3 for a pinnacle, level vendor from green to purple tier etc

They need to focus on the core, strikes/pvp asap and make the game more difficult s***s a joke now

I find beyond light worse than shadowkeep, its literally just stasis.

Only good campaign for destiny 2 was forsaken and now witch queen.

Do the moon raid though, dungeon, and exotic quests, its still worth it

Beyond light was pretty mid too but it was at least a bit more interesting than shadowkeep. Half of shadowkeep was doing mf bounties and lost sectors.

Gonna try levelling a bit and look up how to get started on the BL and shadowkeep dungeons/raids. Might cop witch queen tn too, we'll see
