Ah this makes more sense. I wonder if there was a clause and how much or did they pocket the 30mill after shelving it for a few years
As convert to shaktism I really do not want to see the same tired trope in western media whenever they to film castes
Seeing this tonight, will give y'all the rundown afterwards

Yeah I'm hyped
Welp, I can fortunately say Dev Patel’s got next on the actor to auteur director pipeline. Really enjoyable movie that’s pretty well layered from start to finish. Some real inventive action movements (especially in the last 40 minutes, very much goes into John Wick territory) and imagery that’s fairly damn mesmerizing to witness on screen. Could’ve been shorter/tightened up a bit since it runs for two hours, but overall I’m rather impressed with the end result. Greatly looking forward to what the rest of Patel’s future in directing and writing brings. 8.5/10

Holy s***ttt I'm hyped! As a punjabi guy, it's great to see someone with Indian heritage get so much praise as an actor and director with Hollywood.
