Damn I remember the do it yourself book I thought I was so cool

Last one I remember reading was the ugly truth

I was confused reading The Ugly Truth as a kid cause its set up like its the end of the series with the main theme being puberty and high school but the series kept going

Then I found out years later it was originally meant to be the end of the books

We gotta talk about how Greg Heffley lowkey a sociopath or got some kind of issue

Especially in the first book

Al the characters were asswipes rowley was the only normal person

Classic

Manny was only like 2 and he was out here making everything difficult for Greg and was fully aware

Idk if I'd call Rowley normal but he was the nicest person for suee

I think mine was the last straw after I saw a kid in my class reading it

Rodrick Rules a street classic

Started from the beginning

Never realized it but Rodrick Rules is titled that cause he steals the diary midway through the book

This s*** made me laugh out loud

The School book fair was lit. books had me rollin back in the day.

Greg manipulates and lies so much to get his way it's scary

The more i look back the more i sympathize with Rowley. Dude was just being himself and wanted a friend in Greg and Greg would just manipulate the s*** out of him for his own gain. And if he wasn’t doing that, Rowley was just a piece of s*** for even being in his presence. This man greg was gaslighting the s*** out of rowley and he never stood up for himself

This book deserves a Grammy
