No one outside of chronically online nerds (including myself) know that these albums are out early on random sites. People don’t spend their weekdays downloading zip files a few hours early. It’s just not that deep

Andre 3000 has lived exactly how he's wanted to live. To my knowledge anyway. He reached a commercial peak most will never know and walked away on his own volition.
Danny was briefly flirting with the mainstream and could've probably pivoted with some success IF the EDM rap stuff kept going around Old. It didn't. He didn't seem like he wanted to keep going down that path anyway.
He's released well received stuff since then with a little label trouble of late. He's going to have an audience until he stops. Would you rather be him or Big Sean right now?
