he’s interesting i give him that same level as Kant for me but Marx is currently the only philosopher i’d say i love

Genealogy of Morals is an astonishing work loved every bit of it, not a fan of his aphorism type of style in most of his works tho

    What y'all think of Kant?

almost done the first critque and honestly the latter parts he gets very interesting the first half of the book is a slog to get through but that’s with most long philosophical treaties always tough to start but once ur in it’s wonderful

The things academia does to Fanon are ridiculous

i mean Fanon references Nietzsche at the start of black skin white masks, and other leftist philosophers like Mariátegui are influenced by him

Nietzsche kinda lends himself to be w****d out at the end of the Gay Science he has an aphorism about wanting to be misinterpreted by all kinds of people

I’m writing an essay for you all in relation to Nietzsche and I’m wondering if any philosopher went as hard as him, I don’t know… he got on everybody ass and did it with such brilliance and skill. He weaved things few have and completely disarmed many before him. Good philosophy went deep while staying at the surface. Metaphysical while completely natural. His call to the human… wow. What y’all think?

His words live on. And bad b****es reading em for their philosophy requirement class in college. And when they hate on him or call him a whiny loser. You tell them your poetic and melancholic interpretation of him. And they get wet and vulnerable with you so you can be hard and vulnerable with them cause they think you’re a misunderstood tortured soul. And they want to be the only one who really understands you on an intimate level(Since their ego leads them to believe they are the only one capable of that! Ha!). And when you get p****, Nietzsche gets p**** through you

Anyone here read Zarathustra in full? Have read most of his work from The Gay Science on, but that’s one I haven’t delved in yet. I’m afraid that because I basically know most of his work that the biblical type story loses some of its mystery or allure, has anyone experience with this?

i’ve read, beyond good and evil was made in response to make what Nietzsche thought what he was doing with Zarathustra easier to pick up, honestly it’s better to read Zarathustra last or after beyond good and evil otherwise most of it would be lost on people
