If anyone actually enjoyed the game all the power to them, but for myself I just couldn't force myself to like the game. It feels like Rockstar game design is outdated and it's almost as if you're playing an interactive movie rather than an actual game (if that makes sense). I don't need to speak on the multiplayer, as the controversy speaks for itself. But who else feels this way on here?
I loved it but the part when you’re John is so f***ing boring and just feels like a chore to do that I didn’t even finish it. During the part where you built the house it wouldn’t save and I would have to watch that stupid f***ing video where you build fences, like 4 times in 2 days and I eventually just stopped playing lmfao
Idk if it was nostalgia with the first one but this one didnt seem as fun for sure.
Hell nah. I love it and still keep playing it. So much fun stuff to do even after completing the story.
they could've kept some gamey elements but they went far in the deep end of "realism"
worst was when you would get a loadout ready on your horse and ride for a bit get off and the two weapons would be back on your damn horse.
They should've kept the weapon wheel.
Also they're just large ass swaths of nature. Game is pretty but I does get meh after a bit. Best part was hunting for the pelts to get some cool fits

lmao the game also has extremely interactive towns and cities, so i wouldn’t say it’s just “large swathes of nature”
Basically a screen saver with a running horse

Story was great.
But if it had the fluid movement and shooting of Max Payne 3 or Uncharted 4 and less linear missions, it would’ve been much better. Game tried too hard to be realistic and forgot the fun.

Seriously played it for a good hour after waiting like four hours to install it during midnight release. Haven't played it since.
I got through probably 80% of the game and gave up. Got mixed feelings on it, it was weirdly captivating but dry and boring at the same time. There was potential for a great game in there but what we got wasn’t quite it.
Yes. S*** was so boring I put it down for a good year before I picked it up again and finished it
its an acquired taste. Mosts kids today idea of great gaming is multiplayer and MMO
RDR MP aint as captivating as GTA but its a deeper game.
