    Learn to read sir.

In my previous post I already said it was the era where every tom d*** and Harry could get a number one

Nelly is goated but no way rappers had the same general appeal back then

The rappers who made hit songs did, which has always been the rule

I’m just trying to point out how in these instances, their appropriation of culture are inauthentic compared to that of Drake. Most of these collaborations were probably phone-ins.

We’ve physically seen Drake go on tour with these guys, have a multitude of songs, studio sessions etc.

It’s not to say that Drake made any of these guys because that would be a stupid statement. But let’s call things spade for spade.

I don't think that nullifies him being a culture vulture, but I do agree that he is more dedicated to showing respect at least

Once upon a time, all of us was in chains
Homie still doubled down callin' us some slaves
Atlanta was the Mecca, buildin' railroads and trains
Bear with me for a second, let me put y'all on game
The settlers was usin' town folk to make 'em richer
Fast-forward, 2024, you got the same agenda
You run to Atlanta when you need a check balance
Let me break it down for you, this the real nigga challenge
You called Future when you didn't see the club (ayy, what?)
Lil Baby helped you get your lingo up (what?)
21 gave you false street cred
Thug made you feel like you a slime in your head (ayy, what?)
Quavo said you can be from Northside (what?)
2 Chainz say you good, but he lied
You run to Atlanta when you need a few dollars
No, you not a colleague, you a f***in' colonizer

The rappers who made hit songs did, which has always been the rule

And now it’s significantly easier to achieve chart success as a rapper

    What’s not clicking for you?

The narrative that he put these people on is so lame. Drake only collabs with people who are currently popping. He was down with Migos in 2013 when they first blew then when they struggled for a few years he’s gone. Then he’s back after Culture gave them a second wind.

    for a single song

Kendrick’s 1 feature is clearly the same as multiple features every album + a collab album.
