Obviously Kendrick won the beef and Not Like Us is a generational song.
But I was listening to Push Ups and Family Matters the other day and I was like 🧐❗️
Like I said, Not Like Us generational/GOAT/Legendary. But the Drake songs are hitting kinda harder now (pause).
I think the Drake songs are just better songs. Better rapping and cadence. NLU is more fun, which isn’t a bad thing.
In the long run, I see PU/FM having more replay value than NLU 🤷🏾♂️
Nigga you could argue Push ups was dated on arrival. Dude was rapping about a TDE contract and maroon 5 features in 2024. Should’ve came out and dissed him when that stuff was relevant.
The Heart Part 6 is aging like fine wine. So bad it's good. Whole connection, Epstein angle, war general, us clowns gave you info... so many ironic quotables
Euphoria and 6:16 have the most layers of any of those songs you mentioned.
I corrected my post

He just sounds tired and defeated on it.
Great content, but he just sounded deflated.
the only portion of Family Matters that is worth anything purely musically is the very last beat switch on it, it’s a very pretty beat
the first and second beats are generic type beats, i’m honestly not surprised there’s a loud minority on here trying to Takeover this song because you niggas just eat that s*** up
Push-Ups was his best showing in this beef imo

Nah his flow on the second beat was ☄️☄️☄️
Push Ups and 6:16 are the only tracks out of all the beef tracks that aged well

The Heart Part 6 had more memorable quotables than Push Ups & Family Matters and it was the worst song

metro shut your hoe ass up and make some drums nigga had a good 15 minutes of fame
I don't understand how anybody can like Family Matters as a song. Transitions are clunky as hell and song is a chore to get through the whole thing
Family Matters would have a lot more replay value without the middle part. It's just dragged out, i find myself skipping to the last beat switch when i listen to it while working out

He tried to mimic what Kendrick did with euphoria and the song fell flat on its face lol
Kendrick is just built different

Haven't seen anyone talk about it as a full track in a while, just individual verses
don't know how people are still listening to spoiled milk lines and thinking its hard but so be it. not arguing against it anymore
Expecting a level headed discussion on this topic is crazy
With that being said I think Push Ups didn't age as well because
-"You better do that motherfucking show inside the bity", Kendrick would literally end up doing this and it becoming a huge moment
-"Top told you drop and give me 50%", we don't know if this is true or not but Top / TDE would end up being at the NLU video and the Pop Out lol.

I don’t understand how you don’t like the second part.
When he gets into this flow:
“ good kid, m.A.A.d city van
We'll pop the latch and make the door slide
Tears runnin' down my cheek
Laughin' at you pussies dyin', it's a war cry”
