With that being said the best moments from Drake during this beef were when he was going at everyone on Push Ups / Family Matters beatswitch
He tried to mimic what Kendrick did with euphoria and the song fell flat on its face lol
Kendrick is just built different
Exactly. Euphoria actually sounds like 1 song, Family Matters is literally 3 different songs smh. Unnecessary beat changes literally ruins a song
If it was Push Ups and first verse from Family Matters it'd be a far better song
I don’t understand how you don’t like the second part.
When he gets into this flow:
“ good kid, m.A.A.d city van
We'll pop the latch and make the door slide
Tears runnin' down my cheek
Laughin' at you pussies dyin', it's a war cry”
Hard af
Haven't seen anyone talk about it as a full track in a while, just individual verses
don't know how people are still listening to spoiled milk lines and thinking its hard but so be it. not arguing against it anymore
Taking the context out of it, it's a nice sounding song (besides the middle) It's a shame he wasted that last beat on this losing beef though bc it's the best one behind Like That imo
"Did they age better since you never hear em and you can't get away from nlu?" The thread
The Heart Part 6 is aging like fine wine. So bad it's good. Whole connection, Epstein angle, war general, us clowns gave you info... so many ironic quotables
This one & Family matters become funnier with time
Obviously Kendrick won the beef and Not Like Us is a generational song.
But I was listening to Push Ups and Family Matters the other day and I was like 🧐❗️
Like I said, Not Like Us generational/GOAT/Legendary. But the Drake songs are hitting kinda harder now (pause).
I think the Drake songs are just better songs. Better rapping and cadence. NLU is more fun, which isn’t a bad thing.
In the long run, I see PU/FM having more replay value than NLU 🤷🏾♂️
You don’t have to say “pause” intelligent people know what you meant
"Did they age better since you never hear em and you can't get away from nlu?" The thread
Push Ups and 6:16 are the only tracks out of all the beef tracks that aged well
Euphoria predicted the entire arc of the beef, don't deny it
Only 6:16 has arguably aged better
Nigga you could argue Push ups was dated on arrival. Dude was rapping about a TDE contract and maroon 5 features in 2024. Should’ve came out and dissed him when that stuff was relevant.
Push Ups was corny as s*** in retrospect
People were just giddy Drake properly responded, kicked things off and said names
Folks give that song too much leeway to desperately give Drake something to salvage from this

"We waited for a week and then we fed you the information" is generational
we gotta ban “aged” discussion until a song or album is 5 years old at least unless there’s some crazy circumstance
I’ve been applying to 10 jobs a day. Should I bump it up to 20?
never stop grinding 💪
