It didnt "come and go" but In my opinion there aren't any defining tracks that have a lot of replay value like his other albums.

Rodeo had Nightcrawler, Maria Im Drunk,

BIITSM had Goosebumps, Pick up the Phone,

Astroworld had Astrothunder, Cant Say, Sicko Mode,

I can't say the same thing for Utopia

And “came and went” so fast that it’s still #1 after 3 weeks, platinum under a month, and will prob stay #1 for a week to two more (depending on drake, Olivia) and will sell more next week than most will sell in week one.

These "came and went" threads are cringe asf. Music is not something you can measure like NBA statistics. There are ppl who don’t give af about one piece while others associate amazing memories with it at the same time - generalizing such a statement is ed. Also, calling an album that goes platinum in 1 month, sells 185k in third or fourth (idk) week, has crazy sould out live performances on an international level while symentiously being the most selling hip hop album this year irrelevant just cause you have a hateboner for the artist is just childish af. And I say that as a guy who hates to use numbers on music related discussions. I wasn’t a fan of Scorpion but I would never say that s*** came and went cuz a lot of ppl fw it til this day.

Sales and replay value are 2 different metrics

I’m not doubting that the album is selling. Travis is a blockbuster artist. His name/brand will sell.

What I’m saying is that when I’m out in public or talking to my friends about music, this album doesn’t come up.

And Scorpion had music that is STILL played to this day - 5 years later.
