I mean Diddy‘s producer who pressed charges against him said lucian and em are tied in this whole s*** so who knows how deep this s*** goes. I think some of these people are too powerful to get touched even if they are guilty. for every mf who gets the whole blame there are multiple guys getting away with it

True s***, but I love to believe this is going to be a huge step to getting rid of the foul ass niggas who commit these acts who has their hands around the music industry.

With R. Kelly (as artist himself), I feel everyone knew he was a Pedo since 90s and 2000s, but it took the cases' decision for the public to make a cautious idea on how some industry people move, which is probably causing a lot of new artists to move extremely carefully.

Now with the Diddy s***, he's a exec/mogul, someone who hangs around corporate people and does business with them to have their control over the genres.

If he's found guilty of his s*** and he tries to take down others. I highkey think there will be investigation on these execs as well as the artists.

This is going to be huge and definitely going to be a wake up for the industry.

It seems like only a year and some change ago this dude was a beloved mogul and celebrity. Crazy how much of a monster he was this whole time

From what the homies irl been saying, a loooooot of New York didn’t.

Of course us that aint from there aint know s*** about s*** but see a black man from Mount Vernon make it to the top which was goddamn aspirational.

But that CCNY stampede tragedy in the early 90s left a stain not even Bad Boy the label could wash away + with the fate of most of their artists that didn’t really help Diddy’s reputation as a sleezeball.

Nah he wasn’t. I’ll even give you a modern day example on a smaller scale.

Look at Carti. He’s been involved in multiple domestic violence situations including choking a pregnant woman and shooting at a woman. All of this is common knowledge and nobody really cares.

Diddy was pretty much the same. Every celebrity in black Hollywood and white f***ed with him, ciroc was popular, Sean Jean was popular, etc

Carti is solely due to having a hypocritical fanbase that hates women (shoutout to Rico)

Not nearly the same thing as Diddy.

Nyc having a crooked mayor aint really relevant.

Diddy was loved by mainstream media absolutely. But niggas in the city always had those discussions of him being a weirdo similar to niggas in Chicago having those discussions about Kelly always pulling up to high school.

To the cities that know your entire character of course there will be more skepticism because they seen you at both your worst and your best. Hence why they expand their reach. Diddy being able to do that via MTV and Ciroc and more is how he got billi status.
