When I heard it'd be fully voice acted I knew I'd have to cop, crazy considering how the game is basically a book.

It really is. Unbelievable to me that they managed to record every line, including all the thought cabinet stuff. You're in for a treat for a first playthrough.

Bought it during the last sale and been waiting for this update before jumping in

No concerns whatsoever, think it will play and look great, they've been working at it a while.

A***og support instead of point and click is probably more enjoyable. Full VO eliminates the issue of having to read text at a distance on your TV. Its a leisurely game all in all, there's no like tactical combat you get in other PC based RPG's, its all dice rolls and dialogue driven.

Any word on performance on PS4 (Pro)? They mention in the trailer that the game is 60 FPS/4K on PS5.

Cant imagine that last gen is that far behind.

It’s not really a technically demanding game so I’d be surprised if Pro/X1X can’t deliver the same performance

So how does this play? Do you move your character around etc? I wanted to look on Youtube but didn't want to spoil it.

Yeah you move around and interact with things in the world. On PC its point and click, a***og on playstation. Everything else is dialog and skill checks. Before this you would spend a ton of time reading text, now every line is voice acted. Not a complex game in its mechanics, all about the writing and variables within that.

Might have to give this another go once the update comes out. Last time I played I’m pretty sure I made the guy kick a garbage can and ended up dying so I quit.
