“ I really hate that you been sellin' them some false dreams
Man, if your pub was up for sale, I buy the whole thing
Will they ever give me flowers? Well, of course not
They don't wanna have that talk, 'cause it's a sore spot
They know The Boy, the one they gotta boycott
I told Jimmy Jam I use a GRAMMY as a door stop”
Yes. Now zoom in on the Wick Man/heebie-jeebie lyrics at the end of Wick Man and listen to The Hillbillies one more time.
And? He approved it! Drake wanted to convey that Kendrick, Cole, and he are the three GOATs, while the MV depicts something entirely different.
You just slow...
Corny ass nigga ofc
That’s what all rappers do
i actually just listened to this s*** yesterday, cole even damn near foreshadows the entire beef with his verse,
This has brewing for forever. Between the Baby Keem missing verse on What’s Next and Drake’s concert visits to Baby Keem’s earlier shows, “number 2 DMing my b****”, “we grew up around trifling hoes, you ain’t do nothing we don’t know” its been real real real messy.
I'm pretty sure once drake found that keem is kendricks he pulled out real quick cause nothing was said until hillbillies... Kendrick says on Pure, an unreleased leak, "Lil buddy fooled yall" and I think he's talking to drake thinking he found a new "talent to work with "

Good. Okay, next step:
Remember that wild ass Evil Ways scheme where Drake talks about making out with Rosalia?
Cool.
Is this all making sense now?
One thing about you mfs that I can't stand is yall can't stay on topic...
hip hop discussion forum but as soon as someone wants to discuss hip hop it's time to go outside this place fell off so hard
Cole is a b**** nigga better keep all that I’m the best s*** on his album and go back to talkin about folding clothes
Why do you think Cole's a b****? I'd like to know because Drake's stans want to say Cole's a b**** because he didn't go after Kendrick. Not going after Kendrick was a smart move by Cole.
Cole pulled a b**** move tho when he dissed Kendrick, that's true. The apology was necessary afterward.
I say Drake's stans are mad at Cole and calling him a b**** just because he didn't go to war against Kendrick, because we all know that would only benefit Drake, which is the only thing Drake's stans care about.
They don't give a damn about Kendrick and Cole.

You mean to tell me Cole was cool with this
Yes. Now zoom in on the Wick Man/heebie-jeebie lyrics at the end of Wick Man and listen to The Hillbillies one more time.
Wick man Lyrics
“Rappers are slick comedians, and they get disobedient
And they don't stay in they lane, it's like niggas hit the median
Boat say he the recipe, I must be the key ingredient
Capo might wick a man down with evil deviance
They gon' have to talk to Ouija boards like heebie jeebian
Like the large was too big for you, you'll need a medium
Just to send a message to somebody you loved previous
Empty clips, yeah“
Hillie billies lyrics
“Uh, we gon' f*** up the world
Excuse me, but is that your girl?
If she tell, that's a good referral
Heebee-jeebie talk crazy to me, but Kendrick know I like irregular girls”
oh s*** . But Man I feel like I’m not getting the full picture here

He’s a b**** because he did go after Kendrick but instantly regret it and backed down/apologized. Should’ve stuck true to himself from the get and stayed quiet knowing he didn’t want smoke nor drama coming his way. Calling him a b**** is a bit harsh but like I said in my previous post he can leave all the tough guy and I’m the best s*** in the past. Just rap, be humble and try to make the best music for your fans as possible
“ If you watch the MV, you can see in the last verse when Culture Vulture's statue is unveiled, and he imitates Michael Jackson. Does it seem to anyone else that Cole was manipulated and used for his benefit?”
Can you actually tell me what happens. None of this explaining to me how he did Cole foul.
And I don’t want to give this song a view
If you guys think FPS is bad I can’t imagine what you guys consider good
What an awesome song

The whole point of the song and MV was supposed to be that Kendrick, Cole, and Drake were all presented as the three GOATs of this generation.
The music video shows the opposite, though. At the end, you can see a 300 feet Drake statue being unveiled, while Cole is nowhere to be seen.
If it's about the three GOATs, then put up the same statue for Cole, who was also in your MV wtf.
The final scene is basically Drake saying: "ain't no big three I'm the greatest, no one can touch me."
“Surprised you sent that feature request, you know we got some s*** to address.”
“Did Cole foul don’t know why you still pretending”
It’s unfortunately all kinda there. The third verse was supposed to be someone, and it got replaced with what you pointed out.
Song still goes crazy though. 😭
Honestly, even though I’m sure Kendrick’s verse would’ve been legendary in its own way. Drake’s second verse is so good/fun that I’m glad Kendrick passed lol

valid, I picked a lot of subs from that freestyle with central cee cause kendrick went silent after hillbillies, but why even reach out to him knowing they got bad blood is my question

Me too up until recently, I thought #2 dming my b**** was a typical keem line about his many hoes

You are yapping if you think a song with the big 3 of our gen is not better than the final product, you just hate dot

Nah I just really like Drake’s verse s*** is goofy in a good way
“I’m boutta”
Nah I just really like Drake’s verse s*** is goofy in a good way
“I’m boutta”
I saw someone Say each one had this own beat
That was drake part then Kendrick would have his own part
I don't think this is true however I think J Cole set Drake up with this beef.
The rumors are that Kendrick was supposed to be on this. Do y'all think Drake approached Kendrick to hop on or J Cole?
J Cole said, "Is it K Dot, Aubrey, or me?" intentionally so Kendrick will have a reason to get at them. Kendrick knew J Cole would drop 7 Minute Freestyle & the whole tape. That's even why it's called "Might Delete Later".
That's why after he says he's worry and actually deletes it. The Fall Off is and has always been about Drake's fall off.
When Fall Off comes out a lot of people will listen to it. J Cole's L turns to W.
I might be schizo but most one's thoughts turn to reality.

Ahh, I see, I agree with you, Cole should have kept quiet from the jump. I thought you was going to say what Drake stans say, that Cole is a "bitch" because he didn't go to war with Kendrick. Which, of course, isn't true.
Cole did the right thing in this case and also apologized.
Drake's stans would prefer to see Kendrick and Cole go at it because they don't gaf about either of them. That would give Drake free rein to keep exploiting black culture and cracking jokes at its expense. Hell no!
But Kendrick put a stop to that. Thank the heavens.
