I dislike disney adults more than disney ngl

While Disney is the classic American success story and has brought many people all over the world countless years of joy and entertainment, it’s important to note that Disney is a monopoly. No one company should control this much of our entertainment offerings. It is limiting to the creative voices that are out in the world and they limit the kinds of stories that can be told with said characters. Aside from that, they are consistently anti worker until the pressure is put on them, from Hollywood to their theme parks. There are many bad things this company has done over their 100 year history and we shouldn’t forget any of it. I mean they just donated to the crisis in Israel but only to the Israelis while the Palestinian people have been suffering for years under Israeli occupation. Disney is American capitalism in a nutshell and things need to change.

I understand there are many bad things we could say about Disney but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t enjoyed their products and parks over the years, and continue to do so to this day so uh happy anniversary.

What Disney SHOULD spend the week doing is going back to the table with SAG-AFTRA and getting them a fair deal

I haven’t watched yet but their 12 minute short with multiple Disney characters from various franchises is out now on Disney+
