True but I feel like streaming may have hurt the kids movie marketability. They can wait till it comes on Disney+

Animated movies like Spider-Verse, TMNT, Boy and the Heron have adult interest too because of nostalgia or the Ghibli name.

Sequels still do well but a lot of them are banking on nostalgia of the parents like Inside Out 2 and Moana 2 this year. I just hope we can still get a new hit animated feature like the old days. Encanto was huge but again not till it hit streaming

EDIT: I wrote this then remembered Migration from Illumination actually did really well
